Memorable Bus Journey

When i sat on a BEST bus on 29th June 2009, which is a local bus transport in Mumbai. i met with a good experience. While sitting in the bus, i was reading the book "The Goal" by Mr. Elirayu Glodratt which i think is a must read book for everyone. At that time i was reading the part of the book related to the concepts of productivity.

The bus conductor was constantly shouting "Bheed koh aane do . Bheed koh mat daro". This is a typical sentence you hear in Mumbai ( Dont be afraid of the crowd . Let it come )
Conductor : Beechwale aage chalo. Bheed koh aane do . Bheed koh mat daro
Passenger 1: Itni bheed toh hain . Aur aur kitno ko loge.
Conductor : ( Pushes that man ahead ) Dekh Jagah ho gayi .
Passenger 2: Master (ppl call conductor master here ) rehne do
Conductor : Thoda khisko aur log aa jayenge

Moral of the story if the conductor is thinking to increase the cash flow by increasing throughput (rates at which sales generate money acc to Goldratt), then he was absolutely on the button.
Compare him with Chennai Bus conductors where they sit in one place and dont even bother to give tickets to everyone.

"Thats how productive mumbai bus conductors are : Extremely tough job but they are doing very well. A salute to them"

What's the Action ?

The recent mumbai attacks have jolted the entire country.
Thousands of people came onto streets to protest against the measures taken for internal security of "Common man".
Now the focus shifts towards what Action should be taken so that we dont face this brutal attack again.
Let us look at all the alternatives:
1. Bomb Pakistan and get those militants. I dont think this is going to solve the problem.
2. If we say that we will try to increase internal security , then that's good but that's not enough. We have to respond to the attacks.
Then what should we do ?
I think the only option is to put "Pressure" on Pakistan using International support to fight against the terror. We have to continuously monitor the stepss taken by Pak to root out terror.
Hence International Community have to demand action from Pakistan on a regular basis.

Also as Citizens we have to be alert all the time and report any discrepancies you find in your neighbourhood , workplace etc.
Lets hope for the best.
